Sara Naseri is a medical doctor, a scientist and a serial entrepreneur from Denmark. After graduating medical school she worked at Stanford OB/GYN for a number of years doing research in Women’s health conditions. In 2015 she co-founded Qvin based on her finding that menstrual blood has diagnostic value. The company is backed by Y-combinator among others. At Qvin she is with her team building a modified menstrual pad, called the Q-Pad. The Q-Pad has embedded a small collection strip which can be removed from the pad and analyzed in a CLIA lab for a number of important health markers. This provides women the opportunity for non-invasive health screening and monitoring using period blood. Sara is passionate about eradicating cervical cancer by making screening, early detection and treatment accessible and convenient to all women.

JoJo Hu is the Founder of Pacific Crest Partners, an investment firm that employs a long-term, fundamental approach. Prior to this, she was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Greenwoods Asset Management. Her main product compounded at 33.6% net annualized return over her tenure. She had significant experience and exposure investing in US and China including A-share. Prior to Greenwoods, she was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at DSM Capital, a firm that offered US large cap growth and global growth funds. Prior to DSM, she was a Senior Equity Analyst at Blackrock and an Equity Analyst at Wellington. Prior to Wellington, she worked as a software developer at various financial institutions including Goldman Sachs and UBS. JoJo graduated from Tsinghua University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and holds a master’s degree in computer science from The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from MIT Sloan.

Ms Huang serves as the Usonian China Lead at GMO. Ms Huang incubated a China strategy at Usonian Investments LLC prior to joining GMO in 2020 and has managed it from its inception in March 2018. Prior to joining Usonian, she was an International Equity Analyst at Advisory Research Investment Management. Additionally, she has extensive, hands-on experience working with Chinese private companies and SOEs where she advised on M&A transactions, corporate finance, and strategies. Ms Huang earned her BS in Accountancy from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and her MBA in Analytic Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a CFA charter holder and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Yixin is the portfolio manager of the YX Fund. Born and raised in Shanghai, Yixin started her investment career in 2007 as a private equity investor with CITIC Capital in Shanghai. She moved to public investing in 2012, joining Tybourne Capital as a global TMT analyst and later Keyrock Capital as a China generalist. Yixin launched her own fund in September 2021. The YX Fund mostly invests in entrepreneur led business across Greater China, with a focus on sectors going through technology change. The fund has a concentrated portfolio and invests over long time horizon. Yixin holds a Master in Business Administration from Harvard business School, and a bachelor degree in Economics from Shanghai JiaoTong University.

Wei is the Founder of AIIM Investment Management, a long term deep fundamental investing firm focused on emerging trends globally with an Asian-driven lens. Prior to founding AIIM, Wei was a Partner at Anatole Investment Management, a multi-billion dollar fundamental Asia-driven long / short equity hedge fund based in Hong Kong. At Anatole, he covered Asia-driven global hard Tech, regional Industrials, and regional Consumers. He also headed the research team. Before joining Anatole Investment in 2016, Wei worked at Telligent Capital as a research analyst from 2012 to 2015 and BlueCrest Capital from 2015 to 2016. At both firms, he covered Greater China Tech and Industrials. From 2010 to 2012, Wei conducted academic research in the Visual Computing Group at Microsoft Research Asia in 2010, and with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from 2010 to 2012. His research focus was machine learning and its applications in computer vision and computer graphics. Wei graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University and attained a Master of Philosophy in Information Engineering from CUHK.

Iris Wang is the Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of TruMed Investment Management. Prior to founding TruMed, Ms. Wang was a Partner of OrbiMed and a portfolio manager of the OrbiMed New Horizons Fund. Previously, Ms. Wang was a Director at Credit Suisse and head of the Asia and China healthcare research team. She started her professional career as a management consultant at McKinsey and A.T. Kearney, focusing on healthcare and supply chain management.​ Ms. Wang is an M.B.A. degree holder from Columbia Business School and graduated from the Value Investing Program with Dean’s Honor in 2011. She also holds two B.S. degrees in biological science and economics from Peking University and completed major specialties in psychology.

Patrick Andersen is a Partner at East Rock Capital. Previously Mr. Andersen worked at Luxor Capital, a special situations fund, where he covered Asian equity investments and event-driven investments in the U.S. Prior to Luxor, he worked at Putnam Investments as a high yield analyst. Mr. Andersen graduated from Williams College with a BA in Mathematics and Economics.

Shane Galie, CFA, is a Partner and Managing Director at CornerStone Partners, LLC with co-head responsibility for public equity and hedge fund investments. As a member of CornerStone’s Management Committee and Investment Committee, he is involved in all aspects of the investment process for CornerStone client assets (approximately $10.5 billion as of December 31, 2017). His prior experience includes work for the Dartmouth College Investment Office and for the University of Virginia Investment Management Company. Shane graduated summa cum laude and University Valedictorian from James Madison University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.

Mitch Golden is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Kyndle Capital. He has over two decades of investment experience across public and private markets, asset classes and geographies. Prior to starting Kyndle, Mitch was the Portfolio Manager of Greenlight Masters, a multi-manager fund affiliate of Greenlight Capital, which he joined in January 2012. At Greenlight Masters, he managed a portfolio of hedge fund, SPV, and direct investments with a peak AUM of $1.1 billion. Previously, Mitch held portfolio management and investment research roles at Senator Investment Group, Motu Capital and RH Capital. He also worked at private equity firm Oak Hill Capital and was a co-founder of Quova Inc., an Internet infrastructure company. He began his career as a financial analyst at Wolfensohn & Co., a boutique M&A advisory firm. Mitch serves on the Family Circle committee of the Robin Hood Foundation, the advisory council of Human Development Services of Westchester and on the advisory board of the Abaarso School ofScience and Technology. In addition, he serves on the advisory boards of several private investment firms. Mitch earned a B.A. with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University in 1994 and earned an M.B.A. with Honors from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.

Tony focuses on research for Winston’s funds. Prior to joining the firm in March 2011, Tony spent nearly five years as an Investment Analyst at Lane Five Capital Management, where he assisted in founding the firm and then focused on the research and selection of long and short equities for the firm’s funds. Prior to joining Lane Five, Tony was an Investment Analyst at another long/short equity firm, Matador Capital Management. He began his career in the Equity Research Department at Raymond James & Associates. Tony received an MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business, where he received a Faculty Award for Academic Excellence, and a BS from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
