Rajesh Sachdeva founded FTIM (Flowering Tree Investment Management Pte. Ltd.) in 2008, an Asian Equities focussed investment firm based in Singapore and manages the firm’s investment portfolio. From 2005 to 2008 he was a co-founder and partner at Sansar Capital, an Asian equity markets hedge fund adviser based in New York which at its peak managed in excess of $3 bn. For the first 11 years of his career, he focused on Asian investments both on the buy-side (as an investment analyst with Kingdon Capital and Alliance Capital) and on the sell-side including as a director, Asian equity sales, for Citigroup Global Markets in New York. Rajesh received a post graduate degree in management from XLRI Institute of Management in 1993 (where he was a recipient of the Ram Awatar Chacha Gold Medal, awarded to the best student in Finance) and a BTech in mechanical engineering from IIT Delhi in 1991. Rajesh pursues a keen interest in Hindustani classical music and Bridge in his spare time. He is also an avid Jazz and Theater buff.
