Nishchay Goel is the founder of Duro Capital, a fundamental research driven equity manager with a focus on India. Prior to founding Duro Capital in September 2018, Nishchay was a Managing Director at Mousse Partners Limited, a New York-headquartered single-family office, where he ran the India investment platform across asset classes from 2009 to 2018. Previously, Nishchay served as Managing Director at Northsound Capital, an equity long/short hedge fund. He was part of the Private Equity group at Mousse Partners Limited between 2001 and 2004, and started his career in 1999 at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York in the Investment Banking Division. Nishchay graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tulane University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics, and received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
