Wendy Chen is the CIO and portfolio manager for Sigmoid Capital. She has been in the Asia investing business for over 10 years. Prior to Sigmoid Capital, she was Head of Asia at Kingdon Capital, a New York based global long short equity hedge fund, where she was responsible for the Asia portfolio from 2013 to 2021. Wendy started her career as an analyst at J.P Morgan Singapore. She spent 4 years in Singapore covering Asian companies across J.P Morgan and Morgan Stanley and developed
a deep local network.

Born and raised in Shanghai, Wendy is native in Mandarin and fluent in English. She has a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
