Senior Managing Director, Lone Star Funds

Steve is a Senior Managing Director of Lone Star Funds, based in Tokyo. He is responsible for Portfolio Management and Operations across Asia.

Steve Joined Lone Star Funds in 2016. Prior to Lone Star, Mr. Bernstein co-founded and was Chief Executive Officer of SinoPac Solutions and Services based in Hong Kong. The company offered a comprehensive support platform for Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Asset Management companies and Family Offices. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Oppenheimer Investments Asia managing all Asian investment banking activities based in Hong Kong.

Steve has been working with Asian clients since 1983 and worked in New York and Japan during his 22-year career at Salomon Brothers/Citi

While in Hong Kong, Steve co-founded Inflection Point Intelligence (IPI) an Asset Management education company offering online training to buy-side and sell-side companies in the Hedge Fund, Private Equity and Family Office space. www.ipi-edu.com
