Sinan Xin is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Amber Road Investors LP. Mr. Xin has 20 years of experience spanning emerging markets private equity and technology long/short equity.

He began his career in technology mergers & acquisitions in New York before joining TPG Capital in Hong Kong and Beijing, where he originated and executed transactions across technology, consumer, and financial services throughout Asia-Pacific. He subsequently served as a Vice President at Emerging Sovereign Group, the $5 billion New York-based emerging markets hedge fund backed by Tiger Management and the Carlyle Group, before becoming a technology sector head at Citadel’s Surveyor Capital, and he most recently led emerging markets and various technology investment efforts as a Partner at Hunt Lane Capital.

Mr. Xin holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude as a member of the Huntsman Program.
