CEO & CIO, TriVista Capital

Masaki is the CIO/CEO at TriVista Capital which he co-founded in 2019, based on the experiences of having worked under the same capacity as the portfolio manager and a member of the Investment Committee at Misaki Capital which he also co-founded in 2013.

Prior to Misaki Capital, he was Portfolio Manager of the Asuka Value Up Fund at Asuka Asset Management (now Aizawa Asset Management), responsible for managing the Fund and the investment team. Before joining Asuka, he worked as an analyst at SPC Japan (Standard Pacific Capital LLC’s Japan Advisory) jointly responsible for long-short investments in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, as well as at Morgan Stanley Japan in International Proprietary Trading and Goldman Sachs Japan heading Asia-Pacific Derivatives and Trading Research bringing 25+ years of experience in finance.

Masaki received his B.Eng in Computer Science from Cornell University and MBA from Northwestern University.

トライヴィスタ・キャピタルの共同創業者、運用部の統括者。

日立製作所にてシステム開発に従事した後、1998年からゴールドマンサックス証券でデリバティブ市場リサーチ・投資戦略を担当し、デリバティブ＆トレーディングリサーチのアジアヘッドを 務める。 その後、言語解析システム開発のベンチャー企業を創業。 2002年モルガンスタンレー証券会社での自己トレーディング部門勤務後、2004年SPCジャパンLLCでアジアロングショート戦略のアナリスト、2011年あすかアセットマネジメント（現あいざわアセットマネジメント）バリューアップファンドのポートフォリオマネジャーを経て2013年にみさき投資の創業メンバーとしてポートフォリオマネジメント業に従事。

2019年にトライヴィスタ・キャピタルを設立、CEO/CIOとして現在に至る。

コーネル大学工学部コンピュータサイエンス学科卒、ノースウェスタン大学J.L.ケロッグ経営大学院経営学修士。
