Masa Yamaguchi is the Founder, CEO/CIO of MY. Alpha Management HK ment Advisors Limited (formerly known as “York Capital Management Asia (HK) Advisors Limited”). MY.Alpha Management is a Hong Kong-based investment manager specializing in pan-Asian investment opportunities. Utilizing a fundamental catalyst-driven approach, MY.Alpha seeks to capitalize on themes of change that are occurring across the region. Prior to establishing MY.Alpha Management, Masa was a Partner at York Capital Management (“YCM”) and YCM’s Head of Asia having worked there for 14 years. Before joining YCM, Masa worked on event-driven, value and risk arbitrage investments across Asia at Citadel Investment Group, based in Tokyo. Previously, he had worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in Tokyo. Masa received a B.A. from Keio University and has a degree in Law.
