Kathryn Alexander is Head of Data Initiatives and Relationships for Global Quantitative Strategies (GQS), Citadel’s multi-strategy, multi-asset class, global quantitative trading business. GQS applies statistical and quantitative modelling, as well as predictive analytics, to identify and capture opportunities.
Kathryn leads an international team focused on finding and developing new sources of data for quantitative research and investment globally, including Global Buyside and Sellside Alpha Capture. She works closely with quantitative researchers to identify new data initiatives to enhance the firm’s systematic strategies and leads strategic initiatives with external counterparties.
Kathryn started with Citadel in 2016, joining from an early-stage FinTech start-up where she led business development. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Two Sigma where she held roles in New York, London, and Hong Kong within their Alpha Capture business.
Kathryn graduated from Columbia University with a BA in English and Comparative Literature.
