On June 8, the KLF team joined the Inauguration ceremony of the Hong Kong Vaccine Academy during the Health Expo 2019.

The Vaccine Academy (疫苗學堂 ) is a local educational project to increase awareness and  strengthen knowledge of vaccine-preventable diseases among healthcare professionals  alongside enhancing the role vaccines can play in primary health prevention. Increasing rates of immunization with vaccines is the key to safeguarding the health of Hong Kong’s population. In recent years, the general public’s attitudes towards vaccinations have been misled by reports of risks associated with vaccines and rumors of side effects after immunization. The recent measles outbreak has drawn medical professionals’ attention that these changing attitudes if not tackled, may deliver a devastating impact for public health.
