Awareness
At KLF, we strive to reduce the incidence and mortality rates of gynaecological cancers in Hong Kong’s community. We aim to raise awareness around the disease and empower individuals, women and men alike, to consciously play an active role in their health to foster prevention and early disease detection. Our awareness programmes range from community to small group based health promotion activities.
Prevention
Cervical cancer is highly preventable through vaccination and screening. KLF aims to educate Hong Kong women and girls on the importance of preventative measures, while providing access to vaccinations and precautionary screening programmes, as well as lobby for more government participation and public programmes.
Care and Support
Cancer affects not just the patients. KLF aims to address the needs of gynaecological cancer patients and their families through partnership and support programmes, which focus on the patients’ overall well-being and the survivorship experience through holistic rehabilitation services.
