The Karen Leung Foundation is proud to host the Sohn Hong Kong Investment Conference, featuring the 2nd Annual “Big Pitch” Competition. Sohn HK brings together global investors, visionaries, and changemakers for a day of world-class insight, connection, and purpose.
This year’s program will spotlight outstanding student representatives from Hong Kong and Singapore, competing in the Big Pitch — a platform designed to showcase the next generation of investment leaders.
Funds raised directly benefit the Karen Leung Foundation’s mission to advance female healthcare initiatives across Hong Kong and Asia. Over the past 13 years, the Sohn Hong Kong initiative has raised more than HKD 33 million to support women and families in our community.

What You Do
- Submit a one-page investment thesis (before April 13)
- Top teams receive personalized coaching from judges (April 17 onwards)
- Winners pitch live (7-minute presentation) at the May 20 conference
Big Pitch Overview
The Big Pitch Competition aims to inspire ambitious undergraduate and postgraduate students from partner universities by offering real-world experience presenting original investment ideas to leading global investors.
Two finalist teams will be selected based on the strength, creativity, and viability of their investment thesis. These teams will present live before an audience of more than 300 investment professionals.
University Participation
Partner universities manage their internal selection and submission process. Each submission must follow competition guidelines:
- Teams may consist of one or two members
- Participants must be undergraduate or postgraduate students enrolled at a partner institution
- All travel and related expenses are the responsibility of participating teams
