Thriving Through Cancer – Wellness Programme

KLF is proudly launching a multi-stakeholder community project “Thriving Through Cancer”. This fully funded bilingual initiative, is for those who have survived Gynaecological or HPV related cancers. Providing holistic post-cancer reintegration services for individuals, their partners and caregivers.

This newly created programme offers counselling and rehabilitation support. If you, or someone you know has survived cancer, we are inviting you to participate. The programme will focus on a variety of health and emotional factors, not necessarily considered whilst you are on your treatment journey and not addressed by the public healthcare system.

Eligibility:

Gynaecological and HPV related cancer survivors, their spouses and caregivers.

Benefits:

This fully-funded Programme (available in English and Cantonese) will empower the participant with essential knowledge and guidance, for positive reintegration into family, work or personal life.

The programme is accessed via a virtual platform, through a combination of:

  • E-learning modules
  • Counsellor-led peer support groups
  • Live expert sessions

E-Learning:

The series comprises of videos, resources and exercises to allow survivors, partners and carers to integrate their learning into practical behaviours in everyday life.  Participants can manage the progress at their own pace.
