Chris Wang is the Founding Partner of CloudAlpha Capital, a global tech specialist investment manager headquartered in Hong Kong established in 2014 (the firm’s flagship CloudAlpha Tech Fund was awarded the “Best Asian Hedge Fund” by EurekaHedge in 2020), where he is also the Portfolio Manager of Singularity Tech Fund, a low-net equity long-short strategy that focuses on global tech, especially Semiconductors. Before he joined CloudAlpha in 2016, Chris worked at Clairvoyance Capital and Gingko Fund in Taipei and Tokyo respectively, for a total of 7 years, during which has focused on equity research in sectors of Semiconductors, Hardware, Internet, Auto, Consumer, etc. From 2014 to 2016, he worked at Fusheng Group, a global precision manufacturer headquartered in Greater China, where he was responsible for business development and covered several cities in Greater China and Southeast Asia. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in International Business from National Taiwan University.
