Jeffrey Gao (高劍鋒) is the founder and CIO of J-Stone Capital, which mainly invests in China property sector (equity/bond) and its value-chain companies. He has over 15 years of experience in investment and research on property sector. Prior to founding the company at end-2019, Jeffrey was the Head of APAC and HK/China Property Research at Deutsche Bank. He began his career in 2006 in Shanghai and moved to Hong Kong in 2013. In 2018 and 2019, Jeffrey was consecutively ranked No.1 Top Earnings Estimator by Refinitiv (Thomson Reuters), for Real Estate Management & Development of Asia, and Real Estate of HK and China. He demonstrated records of picking small/mid cap property companies, which later became leading mid-large cap property developers. Jeffrey holds a master’s degree in Finance and Investment from the University of Nottingham and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Zhejiang University. He is a CFA charterholder.
