Part-Time Digital Graphic Designer (Hybrid)
About the Position
The Karen Leung Foundation (KLF) www.karenleungfoundation.org is working to save lives in Hong Kong by raising awareness of gynaecological cancer, educating women to increase rates of early detection and ensuring that women in treatment have access to optimal medical care. Founded in 2013 to honour Karen Leung, a hedge fund trader who died at age 35 following a diagnosis of metastatic cervical cancer, we are the first and only organisation in Hong Kong solely devoted to women's gynaecological cancers. To date, the Karen Leung Foundation has raised more than HK$35 Million to fight gynaecological cancer to help Hong Kong girls and women.
The Karen Leung Foundation is seeking a part-time digital graphic designer with background, skills and experience in the following areas:
Job Highlights:
- Design, develop and produce online and offline marketing collaterals
- Proficiency in Canva is a must
- Flexible working hours
- Work with an energetic & passionate team
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:
- Create visual materials such as event banners, posters, newsletters, social media feeds in Canva
- Explore, contribute new creative design concepts and ideas for our events
- Assist in producing promotional videos
Candidate qualifications/skills requirements:
- A passion for KLF’s mission and objectives
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Details oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Creative, proactive and good sense of creating optimized social media design
- Responsible and able to meet tight deadlines
- Immediate available is preferred
HK Residency Status: Must be eligible to live and work in Hong Kong
Education: Diploma in design, graphics, multi-media, digital marketing or related disciplines
Work experience: Minimum 5 years in a professional setting preferred
Communication Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
Tools: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Suite/Workspace, Canva. Knowledge of Mailchimp is a plus.
This position is part-time/flexible hours, salary is commensurate with experience.
