Project Teal is a programme with multiple organisational partners which aims to decrease the incident rate of cervical cancer for women in Hong Kong. The programme provides free cervical cancer screening services (High-risk HPV test and Pap Smear) and follow-up advice in accordance with the latest Cervical Cancer Screening Guidelines.
In Phase III, the project aims to additionally assess the effectiveness of self-sampling and the best means of service delivery, with a specific focus on women who are reluctant or unable to attend regular cervical cancer screenings. It will also explore other pertinent factors such as patient acceptance of different delivery models and diagnostic accuracy.
The project will offer over 500 women free cervical cancer screening services. If you are interested in joining the project or finding out more details, please click here.
