Project Teal, a programme that is equipped with multiple organisational partners, aims to decrese the incident rate of cervical cancer amongst the female population in Hong Kong. The programme itself provides free cervical cancer screening services (HPV tests and pap smears) and a follow-up consultation in accordance with the latest Cervical Cancer Screening Guidelines.
In Phase III, the project strives to add an extra layer of accessibility. With a special focus on girls or women who are either reluctant or unable to attend regular cervical cancer screenings, Project Teal III is designed to assess the effectiveness of self-sampling at home, and what the best means of service delivery so that nobody misses out.
The project will offer over 500 women free cervical cancer screening servies. If you are interested, you can learn more here.
