Intern (Part Time)
About the Position
Job Opportunity: Intern (Part-time)
The Karen Leung Foundation, a registered Hong Kong charity, is seeking a qualified part-time Intern.
The Karen Leung Foundation (KLF) raises awareness of gynaecological cancers in Hong Kong, educates women to increase the rate of early detection and ensures that women in treatment have access to optimal medical care. We are the first and only organisation in Hong Kong devoted solely to women’s gynaecological cancers. To achieve our objectives, we collaborate with the local and international medical community, as well as other NGOs committed to improving women’s health and reducing the impact of women’s cancers.
Karen Leung was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2011 and died just one year later at 35 years old. The Foundation was founded in 2013 to honour her wish to help other women in Hong Kong prevent and fight this disease.
If you are looking for a career in the not-for-profit sector and are passionate about fighting women’s cancers or simply want to assist the local community, this opportunity is right for you.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the role will expose you to all aspects of the Foundation, including fundraising, all our health programs and charitable administrative support.
