With over 20 years of experience in management consulting in North America and Asia, James Yau brings his sharp business acumen to the table as the founder and CEO of Miaqua. His expertise in agriculture stems from early 2009, when Yau established and operated 26 farms within the Asia Pacific region while lending his knowledge to consult for over 200 commercial farms globally. In 2013, he founded a retail chain to sell high-quality produce in Hong Kong which was later franchised in Mainland China. During 2016, Yau also partnered with a well-established Hong Kong wholesale company to penetrate the South China region that now trades over 65 million kg annually. What’s more, Yau’s knowledge also extends to agricultural finance, operations and technological innovations, thanks to his comprehensive skills and extensive experience in the area.
