About the event

On Thursday 17 June, the Foundation will be hosting an evening that combines the power of both art and wellness.

Taking place at 10 Chancery Lane with the Jessica Zoob, "This Moment" Exhibition as a fitting backdrop, the evening will commence with a short meditation and breathing exercise, followed by an interactive fireside chat featuring Natalie Soderstrom - holistic health coach, yogi, and well-entrepreneur and Jessica Zoob, British Artist focused on Contemporary Art and Impressionism.

Yoga & Meditation Teacher

Natalie is a model, yoga and meditation teacher with roots in Sweden and Thailand. Modeling for many years built a strong foundation for a healthy lifestyle and movement has always been a part of her life. With a love for learning she’s constantly continuing education in all aspects of health and wellness. She finds inspiration from people, nature and life. For Natalie, yoga is all about moving from the head and the thinking, into the body and the feeling. She teaches breath and movements to guide you into the present moment and deeper into yourself. Her holistic approach guides you to incorporate wellness into all parts of your life. Natalie is an experienced teacher with a background in meditation, vinyasa and yin yoga. She is where yoga, wellness and spirituality merge to create change and to find harmony from the inside.

Jessica Zoob

Artist

Jessica has worked exclusively as a British contemporary artist from her Lewes home and studio since the year 2000. She exhibits regularly in and around London and has works in private collections worldwide. Recent commissions include The Lancasters, Hyde Park and NEO Bankside on the South Bank.

Katharina Reimer

Executive Director, Karen Leung Foundation

Mrs. Reimer currently serves as the Executive Director of the Karen Leung Foundation (“KLF”), a Hong Kong based charity. Additionally, she is a Senior Advisor to a global trade credit insurance firm and holds several other board advisory roles. Katharina’s specialty is leading the development of strategies for key corporate objectives or sales initiatives and aligning them to the respective organisational and company’s goals. Over the past two decades Katharina has deployed her strategic marketing & communications skills across continents and industries. Prior to her current remits, Katharina led several marketing & communications teams in APAC and acted as strategic media advisor to a number of public sector organisations in the Middle East and Africa. Katharina is a passionate advocate for social change and has been heavily involved in supporting several local charities and philanthropic causes in Hong Kong. Since arriving in Hong Kong in 2004, she has worked with the Sedan Chair Charity Fund, the Cancer Fund Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Award for Young People and Citi Kids Hong Kong amongst others, assisting with organisational fundraising and donor strategies. Katharina is a Founding Board member of the Asian University for Women Hong Kong Support Foundation and served as Chairwoman of 100 Women in Finance’s Hong Kong Beneficiary Selection Committee between 2011 and 2016. Recently, Katharina was selected as one of the finalists and future NGO leaders in Hong Kong who get to participate in a fully funded education program by Operation Santa Clause and UBS to shape the next generation of NGOs. Since joining KLF in 2017, she has doubled the organisational budget and added numerous strategic partners and programs that support the Foundation’s vision. Katharina holds a BA from the University of Bristol (England) and a MA in Economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. She has lived in over 20 countries and is fluent in three languages. She is married with a young daughter and currently lives in Hong Kong.
