Dear Friends and Supporters of KLF,
March was filled with several important days for KLF, notable March 4th, HPV Awareness Day followed by International Women's Day. Combining both, it should be a call to action to remind ourselves and loved ones to protect themselves against gynaecological cancers through prevention!
It was also a month, in which we found out about a very difficult and sad cervical cancer case which has enthralled many in Hong Kong. The case of Baby Jane Allas and her fight against cervical cancer. In line our mission to support girls and women through our programming, we have joint forces with Baby Jane's caretakers and family to help ease her cancer journey. In doing so, we are working on conceptualising a new programme which aims to address the low awareness of cervical cancer and its prevention potential amongst the Foreign Domestic Helpers community. If you would like to contribute directly to Baby Jane or the forthcoming programme, donations can be directed to us. Please donate HERE.
Thank you for your support!
