Yuki Takenaka is the Founder, CEO, and CIO of Camphora Capital, a Tokyo-based manager established in June 2024.

Camphora Capital pursues a Japan-focused investment strategy grounded in deep research and deep engagement. Prior to founding the firm, he was an analyst at Janchor Partners, where he conducted deep, long-term research focused on Japan.

He also worked at Misaki Capital, engaging in investment research and constructive corporate engagement, and began his career as an equity research analyst at J.P. Morgan Securities in Tokyo. He holds a degree in Economics from Kyoto University.
