About the event

Ovarian and cervical cancer are among the top 10 cancers causing death in Hong Kong. Every other day one woman dies of cervical cancer in Hong Kong.

Along with most gynaecological cancers, cervical cancer has very little or no symptoms at all at the early stages, therefore making it very difficult to detect without regular screenings. HPV vaccination and screenings are playing a vital role in protecting against cervical cancer. The seminar will cover risk factors for gynaecological cancer, signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancer for early detections and how KLF’s programs seek to address preventative shortfalls in HK ( especially with underprivileged communities)
