About the event
Our 3rd Annual Luncheon will take place on October 9, 2020, to highlight health literacy awareness month.
Like every year, the luncheon is an opportunity for participants to connect with corporates across sectors, business leaders, academics, and representatives from the medical field.
Particularly this year, on the back of the global COVID-19 pandemic we believe disease #prevention has moved into the spotlight and garnered everyone’s attention. Hence this event theme will revolve around the use of alternative ways of communication in the digital age and how it can help address one of the biggest challenges in disease prevention; raising awareness thereof!
At the luncheon, we will introduce our latest awareness programme, whereby we are seeking the help of regional artists to explain our cause. The event also will feature a panel with experts of the various art genres and how art has since the early times been used to tell stories and tackle socially difficult issues.
All proceeds from the luncheon will benefit KLF’s healthcare programs and its 2020 / 2021 initiatives.
