About the event
Our 3rd Annual Lunch will take place on October 9, 2020, to highlight health literacy awareness month. Like every year, the lunch is an opportunity for participants to connect with corporates across sectors, business leaders, academics, and representatives from the medical field.
Particularly this year, on the back (or should we say in the midst) of the global COVID-19 pandemic we believe disease prevention has moved into the spotlight and garnered everyone’s attention, yet what is the best way to communicate health-related topics which are often suppressed given social or ethnic circumstances. Therefore this year’s lunch topic will revolve around the use of alternative ways of communication in the digital age and how other forms of communication such as ART can help address one of the biggest challenges in disease prevention, raising awareness thereof!
We are excited to announce that the event will feature a panel with experts from various art genres to discuss how ART has always been used to tell stories and tackle socially difficult issues.
All proceeds from the lunch will benefit KLF’s community art project.
